Textilavfall skiljer sig fr\u00e5n m\u00e5nga andra avfallstyper.<\/h4>\n

Medan material som papp, metall, plast och st\u00e5l ofta kan sorteras i relativt enhetliga fraktioner och s\u00e4ljas vidare p\u00e5 etablerade marknader, \u00e4r textilavfall betydligt mer sammansatt.<\/p>\n

Det best\u00e5r inte bara av kl\u00e4der. Det kan ocks\u00e5 vara trasor, arbetskl\u00e4der, industritextilier, m\u00f6beltextilier, blandmaterial och slitna produkter med knappar, dragkedjor, bel\u00e4ggningar, tryck och andra komponenter.<\/p>\n

Det g\u00f6r hanteringen mer komplex \u2013 och ofta ocks\u00e5 mer kostsam.<\/p>\n

Innan textilavfall kan f\u00e5 nytt liv beh\u00f6ver det vanligtvis samlas in, sorteras, bed\u00f6mas och behandlas mer ing\u00e5ende \u00e4n m\u00e5nga andra avfallsfraktioner. En del kan \u00e5terbrukas direkt. En del kan \u00e5tervinnas till nya textilier. Men en stor del l\u00e4mpar sig inte f\u00f6r textil-till-textil-\u00e5tervinning.<\/p>\n
